Cookie policy

The short version: this website sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and similar — do much the same job. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, a site must get your consent before storing anything on your device unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.

2. What this site stores on your device

NameTypePurposeExpires
sf-themeLocal storage (not a cookie)Remembers whether you switched the site to the dark version, so it stays that way as you move between pagesWhen you clear your browser’s site data

That is the complete list. It is written only if you press the theme toggle, it never leaves your device, it is not sent to our server, and we cannot read it. Because it exists solely to deliver a preference you actively chose, it does not require consent.

3. What we deliberately do not use

  • No analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no page-view tracking, no heatmaps.
  • No advertising, remarketing or conversion pixels.
  • No social media buttons or embedded trackers.
  • No session cookies — the contact form does not use sessions.
  • No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

If that ever changes we will update this policy and add a proper consent mechanism before setting anything.

4. Third-party content

The site loads its typeface (Plus Jakarta Sans) from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser has to connect to Google’s servers to fetch the font, and Google receives your IP address and basic request information as a result.

If you would rather avoid that, you can block those two domains in your browser — the site remains fully usable and simply falls back to a system typeface. We can also self-host the font file and remove the connection entirely; if that matters to you, tell us.

No other third-party content is loaded. There are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or hosted scripts.

5. Server logs

Not a cookie, but worth stating: our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs recording IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and are covered by our privacy notice.

6. Managing what is stored

Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy. You can block storage entirely for this site; the only effect will be that your light or dark choice is forgotten between visits.

7. Changes and contact
